CORR MEDICAL GENERAL WARRANTY CONDITIONS

CORR MEDICAL S.L. guarantees its products, including all parts and labour, against any manufacturing defects for a period of 24 months.

The warranty consists of replacing or repairing parts presenting manufacturing defects at no cost to the customer, through corrective action carried out by CORR MEDICAL personnel.

The warranty start date shall be the date stated on the installation and commissioning report, or, in the absence of such report, the date of issuance of the first invoice for the product.

The general warranty conditions apply to all new products sold by CORR MEDICAL with valid warranties and/or contracts, excluding consumables, spare parts and technical service repairs.

Consumables, spare parts and technical service repairs are subject to their own warranties and specific provisions, normally described in the invoice, supply contract or manufacturer's user manual.

Presentation of the purchase invoice may be required for warranty claims.

Full replacements shall only be carried out if the product is deemed irreparable.

No monetary refunds shall be issued. Only in duly justified cases may credit notes be issued in favour of the customer for the value of the goods.

Product repairs shall be carried out at CORR MEDICAL technical service facilities.

The warranty applies exclusively to the holder (contracting party) indicated on the invoice, and only the holder may claim it.

The warranty shall not apply in the following cases:

  • Modification, alteration or replacement of product parts by personnel not authorised by CORR MEDICAL.

  • Installation of accessories or spare parts not supplied by CORR MEDICAL.

  • Damage caused by vandalism, misuse, negligence, fire, explosion, flooding, power surges, incorrect voltage connection, improper use or maintenance of the product, including its parts.

  • Deterioration of parts subject to wear from normal or abnormal use of the product, such as damage to outer covers or wheels, including stains, dents, breakage, scratches or any cosmetic damage caused by the user.

  • Products not supplied by CORR MEDICAL.

  • Extended warranties shall not apply if the handpiece exceeds 5 million pulses.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND WARRANTY APPLICATION

The customer must notify CORR MEDICAL of the need for technical support by contacting: admin@corr.eu, describing the issue and providing the product serial number or purchase invoice. CORR MEDICAL will respond by assigning a case number.

Products requiring repair shall be collected from the customer’s premises and sent to the CORR MEDICAL facilities designated for each case.

Collection and return shipping costs shall be borne by the customer unless the warranty applies.

CORR MEDICAL shall verify whether the defect has been caused by a manufacturing fault, misuse or other causes. If the product is under warranty, it shall be repaired and returned to the customer free of charge.

If the product is not under warranty, the customer shall bear the transport and repair costs.

Consumable parts such as batteries, cells, cables, probes, fuses, accessory instruments, etc., are not covered by the general CORR MEDICAL warranty. Each consumable, spare part or service assistance has its own specific warranty as described in section 4 of the WARRANTY conditions.

CORR MEDICAL TECHNICAL SUPPORT SERVICE (SAT)

CORR MEDICAL has various technical support centres according to speciality and geographical area, with the central SAT service located at Calle Fortuny 3, 43870 Amposta (Tarragona), Spain.

Replacement of parts under warranty shall be carried out within no more than 6 working days. In the event of a full product replacement, this period shall be no more than 10 working days, except in cases of force majeure or stock shortages, which shall be communicated to the customer.

During the repair or inspection period, CORR MEDICAL is not obliged to provide a replacement product, nor shall this imply any compensation.

If CORR MEDICAL decides to provide a replacement product while the customer’s unit is being repaired, this shall only be mandatory where stipulated in the applicable service contract. In all other cases, it shall be provided at the sole discretion of CORR MEDICAL.

All replaced parts or technical service repairs shall carry a 6-month warranty from the intervention date described in the repair case or invoice.
